PhD Research Workshop

The Schar PhD Student Association (SPSA) is a student-run organization for all Ph.D. students in the Schar School. It provides a platform for professional and intellectual support, student-led initiatives, and opportunities for greater student interaction and collaboration. The PhD Workshop offers students to strengthen their presentation skills and allows for opportunities to engage in discussions with fellow students and faculty in a constructive environment. The Workshops are open to all Schar School PhD students in any stage of their programs and in any program.

You are invited to our first PhD Research Workshop this semester on Monday, October 24th, 4-6pm, Founders Hall 602, Arlington campus. Three papers will be presented during thisworkshop (descriptions below). Each presentation will take 15 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of comments and discussion. 

All PhD students and faculty are encouraged to attend. This workshop is a great opportunity for faculty and students to exchange ideas about research. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
