The Schar PhD Student Association (SPSA) is a student-run organization for all Ph.D. students in the Schar School. It provides a platform for professional and intellectual support, student-led initiatives, and opportunities for greater student interaction and collaboration. This roundtable provides an opportunity for public policy doctoral students within the Schar School of Policy and Government to discuss the next steps in the doctoral program. It targets first and second year cohorts of the public policy PhD program. Advanced students who have passed through the qualifying exam, field studies, and proposal stages will provide guidance on best practices and lessons learned.
